ContentMultiplier ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. What We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and basic profile information through our authentication provider (Clerk). This is used to identify your account and communicate with you.

Content You Submit

When you use ContentMultiplier, you paste or provide text content (blog posts, articles, etc.) for repurposing. We store a short snippet (first 200 characters) of your input for usage tracking. Your full input text is sent to Azure OpenAI for processing but is not permanently stored by us.

Generated Output

The AI-generated content (tweets, LinkedIn posts, etc.) is stored in our database linked to your account so you can reference your generation history.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID to manage your plan.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized data such as page views, referrer URLs, country, device type, and browser. It does not use cookies for tracking and does not collect personal information.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the content repurposing service
• To manage your account and subscription
• To enforce usage limits based on your plan
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns
• To contact you about service updates (rare, no spam)

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that process your data:

• Clerk — Authentication and user management (privacy policy)
• Azure OpenAI (Microsoft) — AI content generation (privacy policy)
• Stripe — Payment processing (privacy policy)
• Vercel — Hosting and analytics (privacy policy)

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in an Azure PostgreSQL database with SSL encryption in transit. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Correction — Update your personal information
• Portability — Request your data in a portable format
